Regional public transit system @valleymetro commissioned Blessing to create a piece for the new South Central Extension/Downtown Hub as part of its #Artsline program.
Blessing created “Papel Picado,” inspired by the Mexican folk art tradition of cut paper decorations and other traditions in Mexican heritage.
The artwork includes two stars that light up with color-changing LEDs at night, a signature of Blessing’s work.
Gizmo worked with the Blessing to fabricate and install this new colorful work of art
