In 2009, Gizmo was able to give back a little by helping director Judith Klain, organizer Mara Murray and photographer Joe Ramos create an exhibition for Project Homeless Connect’s 5th Anniversary volunteer appreciation party at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Ramos, who has chronicled thousands of PHC’s clients, needed help selecting and framing works to present at the celebration. Gizmo curated, framed, and installed the exhibition while also providing temporary walls, signage and exhibition lighting.
