“The new park, which was funded by the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, features amoeba-like driftwood benches shaped from cypress trees that have either fallen or had to be removed in the Presidio. The benches were shaped to mimic the hills of Marin serving as backdrop.” Joe Rosato Jr.
Design was lead by James Corner Field Operations . Field Operations is best known for New York’s High Line. Gizmo Art Production, Inc. worked with Swinerton and Field Operations to create one of a kind driftwood benches for all to enjoy. Come sit and enjoy the amazing views of the Golden Gate bridge.
