Tis the Season for Science: Life on Ice is the name of this years annual California Academy of Sciences holiday exhibit.
Gizmo fabricated and installed many interactive displays that will educate visitors on the adaptations that allow polar bears, Antarctic penguins, and other polar-dwelling animals to survive and thrive in frozen ecosystems. The backdrops were cut on Gizmo’s CNC router along with all the interactive stands. The exhibit also includes a 3M glass fabricated glacier where people can go into a cavern and experience what it is like under the ice.
