Conceived and developed by Gizmo, the Green N’ Clean Energy station teaches children about alternative fuel choices in a fun and enjoyable enviornment. The exhibit explores fuel alternatives and explains their manufacturing processes, emissions impact, and efficiency. The adjoining walls offer several different “gear panels,” where kids can transform energy by turning different handles. A talking car gives audio reinforcements when fuel choices are made at the pretend fuel pump. The Green N’ Clean Energy Station also explains wind and solar energy, and is part of the overall Science Station renovation that also includes the H2O exhibit.
