Piloti is a new permanent art installation located at Bellevue Downtown Park. This innovative artwork features fluted columns rising up to form a canopy 23 feet high with perforated light coming through. The art piece is made up of 6,665 individual pieces and 180,000 rivets. Piloti is intended to reflect Bellevue’s innovative technology sector, love of natural forms, and its creative community of thinkers and makers.
Working with a deep appreciation for the artistry and engineering in this piece, our team paid meticulous attention to every detail, guaranteeing the stability and durability of the sculpture. The installation process transformed Downtown Bellevue Park into a captivating outdoor canopy space, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the artful interplay between the aluminum forest and the surrounding urban landscape. Our builders’ dedication and expertise brought Marc Fornes’ vision to life, turning an open space into a haven of artistic expression for the community to enjoy and appreciate for years to come.
