Gizmo Art Production recently worked with art consultant and designer, Alexandra Ray, owner of Five Senses Art Consultancy. The project involved complex installation of selected San Francisco art for this year’s Decorator Showcase located in Pacific Heights from April 27th-May 27th. The stately mansion, built in the 1800s, posed several challenges. A grand entrance of floor to ceiling mirrors and well preserved architectural interiors made traditional hanging systems obsolete. In addition, the layout accentuated heavy foot traffic. Working on a two-day deadline, Gizmo’s art handling team created a discrete and unique hanging system designed to protect the interiors, and provide effective installation.
