Gizmo fabricated the piece using aluminum, LEDs, and acrylic. It was installed outside of Denver, CO. Gizmo fabricated Blessing Hancock’s sculpture in their 10,000 square foot shop in San Francisco. The tricky part about this sculpture was devising a unique shape that could be replicated many times to build a tall geometric sculpture. The sculpture is located at the Peoria Station in Aurora Colorado. It is enjoyed daily by hundreds of commuters going into and out of Denver. Once the sun starts to set the public art piece starts to glow. Gizmo used RGB LED wire that runs the whole length of the sculpture. At night you can see the color changing lights from a mile away.
