Blessing created this sculpture for the city’s new Hidden Valley Fire Station #45; the piece was officially accepted into Charlotte’s public art collection last month.
At night, LED lights create a ripple pattern that merges into a cohesive biconical form, an effect inspired by the overlapping communication signals of an effective emergency response system.
