Gizmo fabricated Blessing Hancock’s unique sculpture in their 10,000 SF shop.
Blessing Hancock partnered up with Gizmo to fabricate and install “Biota” the sculpture now located at the Peoria Station in Aurora CO. The sculpture was fabricated with aluminum, LEDs, and acrylic. The tricky part about this sculpture was devising a unique shape that could be replicated many times to build a tall geometric pattern. The piece is enjoyed daily by hundreds of commuters going into and out of Denver. Once the sun starts to set the public art piece starts to glow. Gizmo used RGB LED wire that runs the whole length of the sculpture. At night you can see the color changing lights from a mile away.
