Patient No More is a permanent exhibit at the Ed Roberts Campus that documents the history and impact of the Disability Rights Movement. The exhibit combines archival content, interpretive graphics, and interactive elements within a highly accessible public environment.
Gizmo Art Production supported the fabrication and production of custom exhibit components, working within the architectural and accessibility standards of the Ed Roberts Campus. Fabricated elements were designed for durability, heavy public use, and long-term maintenance, while maintaining visual clarity and legibility across a wide range of visitor needs.
The project involved the production of integrated graphic panels, dimensional elements, and custom mounts, coordinated to support tactile engagement and clear circulation through the exhibit. Materials and finishes were selected to balance longevity with sensitivity to the historical subject matter, ensuring that content remains the primary focus.
Throughout fabrication, attention was given to precision, consistency, and alignment with universal design principles. The completed exhibit provides a robust, accessible platform for storytelling that reflects the ongoing relevance of disability activism and civil rights.
