Gizmo has had the honor of working with Blessing Hancock on many of her vibrant metal works and this project is no exception. Gizmo Art Production fabricated over 140 stainless steel panels that are now installed as sculptural shade panels throughout the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in Florida. These panels are being used as a architectural finish for the ballpark.
Each individual panel was water jet cut to the artist Blessing Hancock’s specifications. From a distance, the panels are in the shapes of tropical leaves but as you get closer you can see that the leaves are actually made up of several tiny baseball players.
Gizmo worked alongside the artist and the parks principals to make sure that the panels were engineered correctly and that everything would fit perfectly into the architectural design.
