This new art piece by Blessing Hancock, Spindle, was commissioned by Artiphere, a fine arts festival, for their 15th anniversary in 2019.
It showcases the textile heritage of Greenville and celebrates Artiphere’s 15th Anniversary festival by displaying language collected from the local community. This language is then projected onto the surrounding plaza through LED lighting.
