Gizmo worked on interpretive graphics, accessioned objects, electronic media, custom elements, woodwork, minor restoration work, and 3D tactile elements. Includes all installation, project management, shop drawings and site visits. We worked with designers from The Sibbett Group to recreate the feel of the building from when it was first built in 1837 in California’s Santa Clara Valley.
Page & Turnbull served as the project architects. They consulted through all phases of the project on design and historical preservation. Art Processors were responsible for creating the adobe’s story through a dynamic visual and audio presentation that are viewed in two of the bedrooms and the living room. And the Milpitas Historical Society consulted on matters of local historical accuracy and donated some items for the exhibit.
