“The cookie walls are a part of an interactive children’s installation located in Terminal 1 of the San Francisco International Airport. The play walls feature several tree trunk sections, or “cookies”, which have been preserved in a layer of epoxy resin. A number of cookies are fitted with mechanisms that allow them to slide or rotate, inviting play. Sliding cookies move to reveal a mirrored vinyl sticker.”
